Do freelancers need to charge GST?
Only if registered — registration is required above the turnover threshold, or for inter-state supplies in some cases. Unregistered freelancers issue an invoice without GST; set GST to 0%.
Can I invoice foreign clients with this?
Use the export invoice instead — it carries the LUT wording and foreign currency.
Is this template free?

Can I change the GST rate?
Yes. Each item has its own GST rate. Defaults follow common rates after the September 2025 GST changes; confirm the rate for your supply with your CA.
